About the Grass-fed Party
The Grass-fed Party is an organization of people who support grass-fed ranching and believe that America can hold higher standards to its cattle industry. The Grass-fed Party was founded August of 2008, by the La Cense Ranch with the belief that the projects surrounding grass-fed beef including, humane animal treatment, strengthening the rural economy, better use of corn/grain crops, healthier meat for people, sustainable ranching, and working landscapes preservation can all be pushed to an effective and prominent conversation level by engaging people on a grassroots level through interactive programming on the internet. As a component of this awareness initiative, the Grass-fed Party blog is a dedicated resource for news, views, recipes, event announcements, action initiatives, policy, and historical investigation on grass-fed topics.
The Grass-fed Party is a place where grass-fed supporters across the country can come together to create community and discuss the benefits of whole foods, the economy of our rural communities, and movements within our own neighborhoods and farmland. It is a place where farmers, ranchers, community members, and bloggers can share stories and ideas. We believe that creating conversation is the first step to making real, working, grass-fed change in our food system.
